“Teenage Sensation Luke Littler Advances in World Darts Championship”

Luke Littler has shared that Mensur Suljovic predicted their meeting in the third round of the World Darts Championship before the tournament commenced. Littler, aged 18, advanced in the competition by defeating Welsh player David Davies in straight sets.

Maintaining his status as the frontrunner at Alexandra Palace, Littler’s path to victory seems more assured, especially as Gerwyn Price, a contender in his quarter of the draw, was eliminated by Wesley Plaisier. Earlier in the day, Suljovic triumphed over Joe Cullen, despite Cullen’s discontent with Suljovic’s deliberate pace, accusing him of ‘cheating’ on social media. However, Suljovic brushed off the criticism and focused on his upcoming matches.

Anticipating a showdown with Littler even before the tournament began, Suljovic sent a brief message to the young player after Littler’s win over Davies. In a post-match interview, Littler candidly shared the playful message he received, expressing his readiness for the anticipated encounter.

During his match against Suljovic, Cullen displayed frustration with the Serbian’s playing speed, signaling impatience and later voicing his dissatisfaction on social media. Littler, on the other hand, experienced a favorable evening as his potential challengers, including Cullen and Ryan Joyce, were eliminated by other competitors, enhancing Littler’s route to the championship final.

The PDC World Darts Championship commenced on December 11, offering fans the opportunity to watch every match live exclusively through Sky’s Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle.
