This service provides around-the-clock assistance to ensure smooth operations throughout the year. Smart Support automatically monitors broadband performance and offers immediate help to users facing speed or connectivity problems. It aims to prevent interruptions that can disrupt online activities like streaming or remote work.
The service also includes remote fixes done overnight to avoid daytime disturbances. If necessary, Virgin Media can recommend WiFi Pod or Hub upgrades for better home coverage. Customers can even schedule a technician visit at no additional charge for more serious issues.
Gareth Lister, the Director of Connectivity at Virgin Media O2, highlighted the importance of reliable connectivity and the benefits of Smart Support in addressing network demands promptly. Virgin Media has confirmed that Smart Support is being rolled out to all customers without extra fees, demonstrating their commitment to keeping customers connected seamlessly.
