Russia is gearing up for a potential conflict with NATO, as per a warning issued by Poland’s top general following a significant gas explosion incident. Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces, Wieslaw Kukula, raised concerns about Russia’s actions, stating that they are creating an environment conducive to potential aggression on Polish soil. This warning comes as Poland confirmed the destruction of a vital rail link connecting Warsaw and Ukraine, which is crucial for transporting Western supplies, in what was described as an unprecedented act of sabotage. Gen Kukula highlighted that Russia is currently involved in what he referred to as hybrid warfare, indicating preparations for a conflict scenario. Concurrently, a major gas pipeline explosion in the Omsk region prompted an investigation by the Russian FSB security service. The explosion, occurring during pipeline repairs in Rostovka near Omsk city, resulted in a massive fire with flames reaching significant heights, raising questions about possible sabotage during the maintenance work.
