“Amazon Unveils Slimmer, Faster Fire TV Stick HD”

Amazon has unveiled a new addition to its lineup of streaming devices, introducing the Fire TV Stick HD with enhanced features that surpass existing models. Priced at £39.99, this latest entry-level gadget boasts a sleeker design and improved functionality compared to its predecessors.

The Fire TV Stick HD is now 30% slimmer, making it easier to fit behind TVs and more convenient for portable use. Notably, it draws power directly from the television’s USB port, eliminating the need for a separate power adapter.

Describing the device, Amazon highlighted its compact size and optimized power source, emphasizing its seamless integration behind a TV without requiring additional accessories. Similar to previous Fire TV Sticks, it provides instant access to popular streaming services like Disney+, Apple TV, Prime Video, iPlayer, ITVX, and Netflix. Additionally, it includes a remote with Alexa voice search and quick-launch buttons for apps.

While the Fire TV Stick HD offers full HD viewing rather than 4K resolution, it is suitable for most households. Amazon touts significant speed enhancements with this new model, boasting over 30% faster performance compared to previous HD sticks for quicker startup and app loading times.

Equipped with the latest Fire operating system, the Fire TV Stick HD promises a more streamlined user experience, enhanced recommendations, and improved content discovery. Scheduled for release on April 29th, the device will be available for purchase at £39.99.
