Sky TV customers will notice a significant change in the channel lineup starting April 30. Sky has merged its Cinema channel offerings, combining Sky Cinema Animation (formerly on channel 312) into Sky Cinema Family on channel 304. This move aims to simplify the viewing experience by consolidating all family-friendly films into one channel.
Despite the consolidation, viewers will not lose access to any content. Favorites like Shrek, The Secret Life of Pets, and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will still be available on Sky Cinema Family. Sky assures customers that all content previously on Sky Cinema Animation will remain accessible.
For fans of Sky Cinema Animation, the channel will make a temporary return during school holidays, running from July 24 to August 30, October 23 to November 1, and December 1 to January 5. This means that kids will have the channel back for entertainment when they are not in school.
