“PSNI Hunts for Black SUV in Hit-and-Run Tragedy”

Two children were struck in a tragic hit-and-run incident as they were leaving St Bernard’s Primary School on Antrim Road in Glengormley, North Belfast. The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) is currently searching for a black SUV that collided with the children at around 8 am as they were heading towards Belfast city center.

PSNI is urging any witnesses or drivers who may have dashcam footage of the vehicle to come forward and assist in the investigation. Those with information are encouraged to contact the police at 101, quoting reference number CC2025111700242.

Calls have surfaced on social media for the driver of the SUV to surrender themselves. Shocked commenters expressed disbelief at the driver’s actions, with one stating, “Hope they do the right thing and come forward. This is awful,” while another remarked, “Shouldn’t be too hard to find them if they were dropping kids off themselves. How anyone could drive off is beyond me.”
