Sky has recently revealed upcoming price increases for certain broadband and TV customers starting in April. Broadband customers can expect a monthly increase of £3, while premium TV package prices will go up by £1 to £3. The company will notify customers of these changes starting today.
Sky operates on a variable pricing model, allowing customers in minimum term contracts to cancel without early termination fees. The price adjustments will take effect in April. On a positive note, millions of TV customers will soon have HBO Max, Disney+, and Hayu included in their packages at no extra cost.
Netflix is already part of the package, making the total value of streaming apps £20 per month. A Sky spokesperson mentioned that the price adjustments are necessary to support investments in fast broadband, quality entertainment, live sports, and reliable services.
Sky Mobile customers recently experienced bill increases, with most bills rising by £1.50 monthly, or £18 annually. These changes will be reflected in bills from February 14, 2026, marking the first price adjustment for in-contract customers in over seven years. Customers unhappy with the price hike can cancel without penalties if still in the minimum term.
The Sky Mobile social tariff, designed for low-income individuals, will remain unchanged. If out of contract, consumers are advised to compare prices online to potentially save money. Evaluating current usage for minutes, texts, and broadband speed can help determine if there are cheaper options available. Switching providers or negotiating with the current one for better deals are also recommended strategies.
