“Heated Rivalry” Season 2 Filming in Full Swing

Attention fans of the popular TV series “Heated Rivalry”: The Straw + Berry won’t be serving smoothies to you anytime soon. This isn’t the right time for you to visit the cottage either. The cast and crew of Season 2 of “Heated Rivalry” are currently busy filming, and director Jacob Tierney has kindly asked for some privacy during this time. The request was shared on the official Instagram account of the show.

For the filming of Season 2, “Heated Rivalry” is mainly taking place in Toronto and Montreal, with a possibility of returning to familiar locations in Hamilton, Ontario. Fans have been eager to catch glimpses of stars Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie, who were recently spotted together in downtown Toronto. Williams caused quite a stir when he was seen carrying a Canadian Tire reusable bag, sparking frenzied shopping trips to the store.

The queer hockey romance series, which gained a global following when it premiered in late 2025, has propelled Williams and Storrie into the spotlight, drawing attention from fans worldwide. The actors have been careful in managing their interactions with fans and the media. Recent incidents include Storrie declining a fan’s request for a photo in Toronto and Williams dealing with alleged autograph-sellers in Paris.

In Toronto, another high-profile production drawing attention is Sarah Polley’s movie adaptation of “The Bell Jar,” featuring pop sensation Billie Eilish. Despite efforts to keep the set closed, photos have surfaced on social media, some taken by paparazzi and others by fans. Unlike “Heated Rivalry,” there has been no public request for privacy from the film’s director or official social media accounts.
