Fourth-ranked Felix Auger-Aliassime will lead the Canadian team in the upcoming Davis Cup qualifiers held in Quebec City. Tennis Canada has announced that Auger-Aliassime will be accompanied by Montreal’s Gabriel Diallo, Liam Draxl from Newmarket, Ontario, and Duncan Chan from Markham, Ontario.
Canada, currently ranked 12th, is set to face sixth-ranked France in a decisive best-of-five match at Videotron Centre. The victorious team will secure a spot in the 2026 Davis Cup Finals scheduled for November.
In the previous round of qualifiers in February, Canada narrowly defeated Brazil with a 3-2 scoreline, while France secured their spot in the qualifiers by beating Slovakia 3-1.
