Meanwhile, New Brunswick Premier Susan Holt urged New Brunswickers to back local businesses in response to the unjustified U.S. tariffs. Prime Minister Mark Carney stated that Canada will match the new U.S. tariffs dollar for dollar and is set to meet with his cabinet and provincial leaders to address the issue.
