“Seattle Storm Defeat Toronto Tempo 90-78 in Dominant Victory”

The Seattle Storm secured a 90-78 victory over the Toronto Tempo on Wednesday evening, with Flau’jae Johnson leading the scoring with 20 points, while Dominique Malonga contributed 18 points. Seattle, with a record of 8-31 and having suffered losses in 14 of their last 15 games, also saw Jade Melbourne scoring 16 points and providing seven assists, along with Awa Fam and Zia Cooke each adding 10 points to the scoreboard.

Toronto, playing without their top scorers Marina Mabrey, Brittney Sykes, and Nyara Sabally due to various injuries, saw rookie Kiki Rice delivering a season-best performance with 24 points, supported by Isabelle Harrison’s 17 points and 14 rebounds.

Seattle took control of the game in the third quarter with an 11-4 run, seizing a 64-61 lead, and extended their advantage in the fourth quarter with a 9-2 spurt, ultimately securing a 10-point lead.

Looking ahead, the Toronto Tempo will face Las Vegas on Friday night, while the Seattle Storm will host Los Angeles on Sunday.
