RCMP officials in Prince George are currently investigating the death of a man who was reported missing earlier this year as a potential homicide case. Julian Wich, aged 29, was last seen by his family on December 10, 2025, and was officially reported missing on January 2. His absence for an extended period raised concerns as it was described as uncharacteristic of him.
On June 19, Wich’s remains were discovered in the Fraser River. Following an extensive inquiry, the authorities have concluded that his death was the result of a homicide. The RCMP is urging anyone with relevant information regarding the circumstances surrounding Julian Wich’s demise to come forward and cooperate with the investigation.
RCMP Cpl. Jennifer Cooper emphasized the importance of even seemingly insignificant details, stating that any information provided could be crucial in advancing the case. The investigation remains ongoing as the police seek to uncover the truth behind the tragic incident.
