LCBO locations will be closed, while select The Beer Store locations will remain open in cities like Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo, and Guelph.
In the Region of Waterloo, administrative offices, airport administrative offices, and home child care offices will be closed. The Region of Waterloo International Airport will continue its operations. Additionally, all Region of Waterloo Library branches, museums, and cottages will be closed, except for the Cooling Space at 150 Main St. in Cambridge, open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
In Cambridge, city hall, administrative offices, libraries, community centers, and arenas will be closed, while specific pools like George Hancock Pool and Ed Newland Pool will remain open. Kitchener City Hall will be open, but in-person services will not be available. All community centers, pools, and library branches in Kitchener will be closed.
Waterloo City Hall will be closed, with exterior-access public washrooms available from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Waterloo Public Library branches, community centers, and sports facilities will be closed, except for the pool at Moses Springer Community Centre open for public swimming in the afternoon.
