Four individuals have been indicted in connection with the demise of a 72-year-old male in the northern region of Manitoba. The elderly man was discovered on the ground outside the Lynn Lake RCMP detachment on the morning of September 20, according to law enforcement. A cell guard spotted the man at approximately 7:30 a.m. and promptly informed officers, as stated in a press release. Despite efforts to administer first aid by officers while awaiting paramedics, the man succumbed to his severe injuries before transportation was possible.
Authorities suspect that following an assault at his residence, the man ventured to the detachment before collapsing. The accused individuals, three men aged 26, 27, and 29, along with a 49-year-old woman, are facing charges of assault causing bodily harm. All four individuals hail from Lynn Lake, situated approximately 815 kilometers northeast of Winnipeg.
