Police are currently conducting an investigation following a plane crash that occurred just outside Fergus, Ontario, on Friday. The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) reported that a small general aviation aircraft crashed around 10:15 a.m. close to the Beatty Line and Wellington Road 1 intersection. The OPP stated that the plane went down in a field and subsequently ignited. The authorities have not disclosed the extent of injuries resulting from the incident. Moreover, Transport Canada has been informed about the crash. As the investigation continues, drivers are advised to steer clear of the area.
