The cause of her death has not been disclosed, and representatives for Panettiere have not responded to requests for comments. Panettiere, who was set to turn 37 this Friday, began her acting career as a child appearing in commercials and soap operas.

Her portrayal as a cheerleader with superpowers in “Heroes” catapulted her to fame in 2006, with the series famous for the phrase “Save the cheerleader, save the world.” Panettiere expressed her enthusiasm for the show, mentioning its blend of reality and sci-fi elements that appeal to a wide audience.

Following her success in “Heroes,” Panettiere took on the role of a spirited country singer in “Nashville,” sharing the screen with Connie Britton. The show, which aired on ABC for four seasons before being revived on CMT, showcased Panettiere’s musical talents and earned her two Golden Globe nominations.

Tragically, Panettiere had faced personal challenges, including the loss of her younger brother due to a heart condition in 2023. She had also been candid about her struggles with alcohol addiction and depression, particularly after giving birth to her daughter in 2014.

Panettiere revealed that she had entered rehab in 2015 while filming “Nashville,” acknowledging her battle with mental health issues and substance abuse. Despite her fame and success, she grappled with the pressures of stardom and the intrusive nature of paparazzi.
