Anthony Joshua, the British heavyweight champion, is facing potentially more severe injuries following a harrowing car accident in Nigeria. The incident occurred on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway near Lagos when Joshua’s black Lexus Jeep collided with a stationary red commercial Sinotruck. While Joshua sustained minor injuries and was hospitalized, the crash tragically claimed the lives of his close friends, Kevin Ayodele and Sina Ghami.
The Federal Road Safety Corps of Nigeria promptly released initial findings, stating that the crash involved the two vehicles and five adult males.
