“Freeview Users Advised: Retune Now for New Channel Lineup Update”

Freeview users are advised to promptly review their settings and retune their devices as the UK TV platform has announced a new update. The update includes changes to the channel lineup and TV guide. Freeview has stated that certain broadcasters are implementing adjustments this week, necessitating a retune to ensure channels and the TV guide remain current.

Notable modifications include the rebranding of three channels with new names, now visible in the TV guide. That’s TV 3 (Channel 71) is now known as That’s 20th Century, showcasing music from past decades and classic shows like Yes, Minister, In Sickness and in Health, and The Saint. Additionally, That’s TV 3 MCR (Channel 86) has been renamed That’s 20th Century MCR, and That’s Classics MCR (Channel 93) is now simply That’s Classics.

Furthermore, a new channel called That’s Entertainment will debut on Channel 75. Although program listings for this service are currently limited, more information is anticipated soon. Freeview emphasized that such updates are part of ongoing adjustments by broadcasters to keep content fresh and diverse.

Users with Freeview should observe these changes reflected in the TV planner. If not, a retune may be required by following these steps:

1. Press the menu button on the remote.
2. Navigate to settings, installation, or a similar option.
3. Enter the PIN if prompted (commonly 1234 or 0000).
4. Select “first-time installation,” “factory reset,” or “full retune.”
5. Confirm the willingness to delete existing channels.
6. The device will automatically search for and store the updated channels.

Although Freeview updates occur regularly, this recent update is noteworthy, so users are encouraged to retune promptly.
