Lenovo challenges Apple’s dominance in the tablet market with the launch of the Tab Plus Gen 2, posing stiff competition for the iPad. Featuring a 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision visuals, this device offers a visually stunning experience.
The standout feature of the Tab Plus Gen 2 is its unique design, with a large circular speaker powered by JBL technology replacing the traditional metal casing. This speaker not only enhances audio for entertainment purposes but also doubles as a Bluetooth speaker, supporting Dolby Atmos audio for an immersive sound experience.
Enhancing user convenience, the tablet includes a built-in kickstand that can rotate 360 degrees, allowing for landscape and portrait viewing modes. Additionally, the kickstand can be transformed into a carry handle, improving portability.
Under the hood, the Tab Plus Gen 2 is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, a large 10,200mAh battery with fast charging capabilities, and 128GB of storage expandable via an SD Card. Priced at £369, this tablet offers a compelling alternative to Apple’s iPad lineup, which starts at £429, with the upgraded Air model priced at £749.
