Nova Scotia Premier Tim Houston mentioned that Carney urged provinces to reintroduce American alcohol in stores. However, Kinew stated during a news conference that Manitoba has not yet agreed to this request. If Manitoba does decide to restock U.S. products in Liquor Marts as part of a trade agreement, Kinew encourages Canadians to opt for Canadian alternatives instead. He emphasized the importance of sending a message against President Donald Trump’s trade policies and treatment of Canada.
