One individual is in critical condition in the hospital after a crash between a vehicle and a motorcycle on Oxford Street near Clarke and Industrial Roads in east London. The incident occurred on Wednesday night, and emergency responders arrived at the scene at approximately 5:30 p.m.
According to the London Police Service (LPS), two people were taken to the hospital, with one suffering life-threatening injuries and the other with non-life-threatening injuries. The LPS spokesperson mentioned that the cause of the collision and the events leading up to it are currently being investigated by their Road Safety Section.
The affected section of Oxford Street was shut down throughout Wednesday evening while authorities conducted their investigation. The road was completely reopened for traffic in both directions by 11 p.m.
