Authorities identified a significant presence of natural gas emanating from sewer drains. The Greater Sudbury Police and Fire Services issued a public alert via social media earlier today. A city representative informed Radio-Canada that a total of 12 buildings near the gas leak location were evacuated as a precautionary measure.
