The NBA has decided not to suspend Kawhi Leonard or nullify his contract following its investigation into salary-cap circumvention by the Los Angeles Clippers. This development paves the way for Leonard’s potential return to the Toronto Raptors.
As a result of the investigation, the Clippers received a $30 million fine, and Leonard was instructed to pay $700,000 in restitution. Additionally, Clippers owner Steve Ballmer faces a one-year suspension from the league. The team also had five first-round draft picks revoked by the NBA.
Stay tuned for further updates on this matter.
