“OPP Seeks Witnesses in Fatal Port Colborne Crash”

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are seeking witnesses following the tragic death of a 31-year-old man from Port Colborne in a two-vehicle crash on Thursday morning. The incident occurred at the intersection of Highway 3 and Miller Road, where a motorcycle and a pickup truck collided around 6 a.m.

According to OPP, a 41-year-old man from Port Colborne was driving the pickup truck northbound on Miller Road, crossing Highway 3, while the 31-year-old man was riding the motorcycle eastbound on Highway 3. The collision happened at the intersection, resulting in critical injuries to the motorcyclist, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck, who stayed at the scene, was unharmed.

OPP stated that Highway 3 was closed for several hours on Thursday morning for an extensive on-site investigation conducted by the OPP traffic incident management enforcement team, which included technical collision investigators and a reconstructionist.
