“Pilot Killed in Sask. Plane Crash”

RCMP reported that a pilot died in a plane crash on Tuesday morning in the RM of Marriott, close to Rosetown, Sask. The incident was reported to Rosetown RCMP around 10:30 a.m. CST. Rosetown is situated approximately 110 kilometers southwest of Saskatoon.

According to a statement released on Tuesday, Rosetown RCMP confirmed that the plane crash involved a single occupant, a man who was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS. The man’s identity has not been disclosed, but his family has been informed.

Authorities stated that the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service are conducting an investigation into the crash. The TSB is an independent agency responsible for examining transportation incidents involving air, marine, pipeline, and rail sectors.
