The Toronto Raptors are set to kick off the upcoming NBA season at home for the 14th time in the last 15 years. The NBA unveiled the complete schedule for the 2026-27 season, with the Raptors scheduled to play their first game on Oct. 21 against the Chicago Bulls at Scotiabank Arena. Following this, the Raptors will hit the road for their first away game against the Washington Wizards two days later.
Highlighted matchups on the Raptors’ home schedule include consecutive games against the reigning champions, the New York Knicks, on Nov. 15 and 17. Additionally, fans can anticipate an exciting matchup as Victor Wembanyama’s San Antonio Spurs visit on Dec. 10, and Canadian sensation Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder will face off against the Raptors on March 10.
January is expected to be a busy month for the Raptors, with 17 games on the agenda, including a six-game homestand. The team is also slated to play 15 back-to-back games during the season, with seven of them not requiring travel. While the schedule for 80 of Toronto’s 82 games has been confirmed, two games are still pending and will be scheduled post the group stage of the in-season NBA Cup tournament.
Regrettably, the Raptors have once again been omitted from the prestigious Christmas Day lineup. The team last played on Dec. 25 in 2019 when they were the defending NBA champions.
