Samsung Unveils Galaxy S26 Series with Privacy Display

Samsung has unveiled a trio of new Galaxy S26 smartphones, with the standout feature being the Privacy Display on the S26 Ultra, offering enhanced privacy by making on-screen content invisible to those not directly facing the screen. This innovative feature can be customized to block specific apps or notifications for added security.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra boasts the industry’s first built-in Privacy Display, a display technology breakthrough that revolutionizes privacy protection on mobile phones. By manipulating pixel light dispersion, the display ensures clear and bright content for the user while preventing others from viewing it.

In addition to the Privacy Display, the Galaxy S26 Ultra features a sleek design, extended battery life, and is powered by the cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform from Qualcomm. Rapid charging capability allows the device to reach 75% battery in just 30 minutes.

The smartphone also introduces an upgraded quad rear camera for improved low-light photography and enhanced video stabilization with Super Steady features. Furthermore, the S Pen is included for convenient note-taking on the 6.9-inch AMOLED screen.

Accompanying the Ultra model are the standard S26 with a 6.3-inch screen and the larger 6.7-inch Plus variant, both powered by Samsung’s Exynos chip and equipped with triple-lens rear cameras.

All new Samsung smartphones benefit from smart features enhancements through a Galaxy AI upgrade, offering improved user experiences like Now Nudge, which provides relevant suggestions to help users stay focused and productive.

Samsung’s commitment to innovation comes at a price, as indicated by the increased costs for the new Galaxy S26 range in the UK:

– S26: 256GB £879, 512GB £1,049
– S26 Plus: 256GB £1,099, 512GB £1,269
– S26 Ultra: 256GB £1,279, 512GB £1,449, 1TB (with 16GB RAM) £1,699

These devices will be available in stores starting next month.
