“Sky Launches Ultimate Streaming Bundle for £24/month”

Sky has unveiled an exciting new update that is set to capture attention. The television provider has confirmed the launch of a compelling subscription package that combines several of the most popular streaming services worldwide at a reduced monthly rate. For just £24 per month, both new and existing customers will soon gain access to a bundle featuring Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, and the upcoming HBO Max app, scheduled to debut next month.

This bundled offering from Sky is deemed as a great value proposition, providing approximately £20 worth of streaming applications at a discounted price. Considering Sky’s current base plan costs £15 per month, subscribers can enjoy the additional content for only an extra £9.

Moreover, Ultimate TV plan subscribers will receive access to over 130 channels, including notable ones such as Sky Comedy, Sky Documentaries, Sky Crime, and Sky History, among others.

As an added benefit, users signed up with Sky Cinema will have the advantage of a dedicated Disney movie channel directly integrated into their planner. This feature allows them to watch Disney blockbusters without having to open the Disney+ app separately.

Existing Disney+ subscribers who are direct subscribers can seamlessly transition their current plan, whether it is Standard or Premium, to Sky while retaining their profiles and viewing history.

Sky has assured that all supported apps will be easily accessible from the homepage, offering a fully integrated content experience. This functionality enables users to discover shows and movies through voice search and save them to a Playlist for later viewing convenience.

The new Sky Ultimate plan will be accessible across Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q platforms.

Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, expressed that this update signifies a “new era” for Sky and NOW, bringing together Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu under a single subscription. She highlighted the integrated viewing experience and exceptional value for customers, with HBO Max included at no additional charge for NOW Entertainment subscribers.

Sky emphasized that this move underscores its commitment to innovation, streamlining the process for viewers to enjoy premium entertainment conveniently in one place.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS OF THE UPDATE:

– Netflix Standard with Ads
– Disney+ Standard with Ads – available from March (exact date pending)
– HBO Max Basic with Ads – launching in the UK & Ireland on 26th March
– Hayu – available from July, with select top shows accessible from March
– PLUS: Over 130 channels from Sky
