“Sky Mobile Prices Set to Rise in February 2026”

Millions of Sky Mobile subscribers will experience an increase in their monthly bills starting next month following the recent announcement of a price hike. The majority of customers can anticipate a £1.50 rise per month, amounting to an annual increase of £18. However, individual bill adjustments may vary.

The revised pricing will take effect on February 14, 2026, representing the first price adjustment for in-contract Sky Mobile users in over seven years. Customers who are dissatisfied with the increment and are within the minimum contract period have the option to terminate their package without incurring early termination fees.

Notably, the cost of the Sky Mobile social tariff, catering to individuals with lower incomes, will remain unchanged. Sky attributed the price adjustment to elevated wholesale network expenses and assured customers that they will receive notifications if their bills are affected.

A spokesperson from Sky Mobile explained, “In order to maintain the high quality, service standards, and value our customers expect, a majority of Sky Mobile subscribers will witness a £1.50 increase in their monthly bills starting February. This decision, made after more than seven years without mid-contract price hikes, is necessary due to industry-wide cost pressures and will facilitate ongoing investments in our network and customer service.”

In a related development, O2 disclosed that almost all contract customers, both mobile and SIM-only, will face a £2.50 per month increase from April 2026, exceeding the initial £1.80 increment. Additionally, Three mobile customers opting for data plans of 4GB or less will experience a £1.80 monthly rise commencing April 2026, representing an 80p increase from the current £1 raise.

For Three customers with data plans ranging between 4GB and 100GB, the monthly charge will surge by £1.90 from April 2026, while those with over 100GB will encounter a £2.30 hike per month. Moreover, Three broadband users will see a £3.50 monthly increase from April 2026.

Vodafone mobile subscribers who sign up for new deals after November 12 will witness a £2.50 per month rise, with Basics SIM plan users facing a £1.50 escalation. Vodafone broadband customers will also experience a £3.50 monthly price surge. Existing Vodafone and Three broadband or mobile contract holders will continue to pay their agreed-upon rates.

Overall, the price adjustments across various telecom providers are a response to industry-wide cost challenges, ensuring sustained network enhancements and customer service improvements.
