Sky is introducing a new offering in 2026 with the launch of the Ultimate plan. This plan combines premium channels like Sky Atlantic, Sky One, and Sky Documentaries with Netflix and Disney+ for a single monthly fee. Additionally, the upcoming HBO Max will be included upon its release this week, offering popular shows on demand at no extra charge. Subscribers can look forward to the introduction of Hayu later this year, providing a variety of reality TV content to audiences in the UK.
Although the full launch of Hayu is scheduled for July, Sky has surprised fans by offering an early preview named “Taste of Hayu.” This preview is currently live, granting viewers access to over 150 episodes from some of the platform’s most popular franchises, including Below Deck Mediterranean, The Real Housewives series, and Vanderpump Rules.
The “Taste of Hayu” preview is accessible to Sky Stream and Sky Glass customers with the Ultimate TV package, as well as Sky Q and Sky+ users, enabling them to watch selected seasons on demand. The complete rollout of Hayu in July will unlock the entire catalogue, allowing fans of reality TV to enjoy numerous additional series. Moreover, new episodes of major shows will be available the same day as their US airing, all included in the Sky TV experience.
In a statement, Sky expressed excitement for reality TV fans, highlighting the availability of select Hayu shows for Sky TV subscribers. The statement emphasized that customers can enjoy favorite seasons directly from their homepage on demand as part of their subscription. This offering provides a glimpse of what’s to come before the full launch of Hayu on Sky in July.
Hayu will join Netflix and Disney+ in the Ultimate package, with HBO Max set to join next week, followed by the complete integration of Hayu later in the year.
The new £24 package includes:
– Netflix Standard with Ads
– Disney+ Standard with Ads (from an upcoming date in March)
– HBO Max Basic with Ads (launching in the UK & Ireland on 26 March)
– Hayu (full access from July, with preview content available from March)
– Over 130 Sky channels
