Ukrainian Kickboxing Champion Killed in Putin’s Missile Attack

A 17-year-old champion kickboxer tragically lost her life while seeking refuge during a missile attack carried out by forces under Vladimir Putin’s command. Karina Bakhur, a talented Ukrainian athlete, succumbed to injuries sustained in the missile strikes on Berestyn, a residential area in the Kharkiv region. The young martial artist was rushing to a shelter in her building’s basement when the fatal incident occurred.

Karina, who held titles as the European “Cossack duel” champion and the Ukrainian kickboxing champion, passed away at the hospital where she was being treated. Known for her prowess in kickboxing, she had proudly represented Ukraine in various competitions across Europe. Despite Putin’s admiration for martial arts, his military actions resulted in the tragic loss of a promising teenage athlete skilled in karate.

Following the fatal missile strikes, a police source confirmed the death of the young girl, emphasizing the cruelty of the attack. Tributes poured in for Karina, highlighting her youth, strength, and the promising future that was abruptly cut short by the Russian aggression in Berestyn.

In a concerning development, Putin’s forces are reportedly gearing up for potential conflict with NATO, as indicated by warnings from Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces, Wieslaw Kukula. Kukula raised alarm over Russia’s preparations for war, describing the current situation as a phase of “hybrid warfare” aimed at destabilizing key institutions and creating conditions favorable for potential aggression on Polish territory.

Estonia’s foreign minister, Margus Tsahkna, also expressed concerns about the escalating military threats posed by Russia towards NATO member states, highlighting the urgency of the situation.
