According to the latest predictions by WXCHARTS, snow is forecasted to arrive on November 18, primarily impacting Scotland in the morning. Northern England near Newcastle is also likely to experience wintry showers, while snow patches are anticipated in locations like London, Kent, and Norfolk.
The WXCHARTS forecast, in conjunction with Metdesk data, suggests a significant drop in temperatures, especially in Scotland where the Highlands might see lows of -8C. Northern England along the Scottish border is also expected to feel the cold with temperatures dropping to -5C. Much of England is projected to hover just below freezing, with parts of the South potentially reaching -2C.
The Met Office’s outlook supports the possibility of snowfall across the UK in the coming week. Met Office forecaster Simon Partridge mentioned that temperatures are set to decrease significantly over the next few days, with the likelihood of widespread frost and temperatures ranging between minus 5C and minus 7C. Expectations include snowfall in Scotland, Northern Ireland, North Yorkshire Moors, west Wales, and southwest England, with snowy conditions expected on Tuesday and Wednesday.
