“Pepper Spray Incident Injures 20 Children at German School”

A significant incident occurred at a school in Germany today, where 20 children were injured during class. The incident took place at Raderthal School in Cologne, leading to nine children being swiftly transported to the hospital. Emergency response teams rushed to the school following the deployment of pepper spray, which triggered a mass casualty alert.

Initially called to assist one person, emergency crews found multiple pupils suffering, with most experiencing severe eye irritation. Authorities suspect a 16-year-old individual as the source of the incident involving the spray. According to a spokesperson from the local fire department speaking to the Rundschau newspaper, what was initially reported as a single injury escalated to several children experiencing severe eye irritation.

Reports indicate that the nine hospitalized children, aged between 12 and 14 as per local sources, are receiving further treatment. Both the fire department and the police are actively investigating the situation.

This event comes after a similar incident two months ago, where numerous children were affected by tear gas sprayed in another primary school in Germany. An individual attacked around 20 children at a school in Hanau, resulting in six girls and 14 boys receiving treatment for breathing issues, with two students requiring hospitalization. Police noted that some students heard a loud noise, suggesting the use of pepper spray. An investigation has been launched by the authorities.
