A tragic incident has resulted in the passing of a 30-year-old influencer named Dmitry Nuyanzin. He embarked on an extreme fitness challenge involving gaining and losing 55lbs rapidly by consuming a daily intake of 10,000 calories, well above the recommended 2,500 calories for men by the NHS, as part of his weight-loss program promotion.
With over 43,000 followers on Instagram, Dmitry aimed to showcase the effectiveness of his program, offering a monetary incentive to individuals over 100kg who could shed 10% of their body weight by New Year’s Eve. By indulging in a diet rich in high-calorie foods like burgers, pizza, crisps, pastries, and mayonnaise-drenched dumplings, Dmitry managed to gain around 13kg in just one month.
Throughout the challenge, Dmitry regularly updated his followers on his progress, sharing images of his indulgent meals. Tragically, Dmitry passed away in his sleep due to heart failure, as reported by the Ostorozhno Novosti channel, a day after canceling training sessions due to feeling unwell.
Dmitry’s untimely demise has sparked an outpouring of tributes, remembering him as a vibrant and positive individual. The British Heart Foundation highlights the risks associated with excess weight, emphasizing the potential impact on heart health, including atherosclerosis, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, type 2 diabetes, and heart disease.
Dmitry, a graduate of the Orenburg Olympic Reserve School and the National Fitness University in St. Petersburg, was known for training Russian elite members and inspiring his online followers. While details surrounding his cause of death remain undisclosed, reports indicate that Dmitry was married and had no children.
