“Amazon Slashes Apple TV & Streaming Prices Up to 60%”

Amazon has reduced the prices of Apple TV, Paramount+, and MGM+ by up to 60% to celebrate the beginning of its latest Prime Day sale. Starting on June 23, the e-commerce giant launched a site-wide sales event, offering subscriptions for various major streaming platforms starting at £2.99.

As part of the sale, Amazon customers can now subscribe to Apple TV at a discounted rate of £4.99 per month, which is half the original price of £9.99. Subscribers locking in this deal will enjoy the reduced price for two months before it reverts to the standard £9.99 unless canceled.

Similarly, MGM+, the platform showcasing “Project Hail Mary,” is now priced at £2.99 for two months, down from the usual £5.99. Paramount+ subscriptions are also available at £2.99 for one month, reduced from £7.99. These promotional offers are valid until July 2 and coincide with Amazon’s Prime Day 2026 sale.

During June 23-26, Prime members and shoppers on a Prime 30-day free trial can access discounts on thousands of items. Additionally, Prime Video is providing free trials for Lionsgate+, Studiocanal Presents, and Crunchyroll.

It’s important to note that both discounted streaming subscriptions and free trials will automatically transition to standard paid subscriptions after the promotional period ends. Subscribers should remember to cancel their subscription before the discounted or free period expires to avoid being charged the regular rate.

Amazon customers have until July 2 to subscribe to Apple TV through Prime Video for £4.99 per month for two months. Meanwhile, Sky is offering complimentary streaming subscriptions with its TV packages, with the Ultimate TV bundle at £24 allowing customers to access Netflix, HBO Max, and Disney+ for free, along with approximately 135 channels including Sky Atlantic.

For fans of Apple TV, the platform has released highly acclaimed titles this year, such as the comedy horror “Widow’s Bay” with a remarkable 98% Rotten Tomatoes score. Additionally, the second season of “Sugar,” a neo-noir detective series starring Colin Farrell, is now available for streaming.

MGM+ offers popular new titles like “Project Hail Mary,” featuring Ryan Gosling’s space epic, alongside series like Outlander and the James Bond film collection. Paramount+ members can enjoy the latest seasons of “The Agency” starring Michael Fassbender and the Yellowstone spin-off “Dutton Ranch” for £2.99.
