A fatal collision in Mississauga on Wednesday morning claimed the life of a motorcyclist in their 50s, according to authorities. Peel police reported that the incident, involving a motorcycle and a transit bus, occurred around 9:26 a.m. near the intersection of Bovaird Drive E. and Great Lakes Drive. Tragically, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, while the bus driver was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Police have advised residents to steer clear of the road closures affecting the eastbound lane of Bovaird Drive and Dixie Road following the accident.
