One individual has passed away following a motorcycle crash near Renfrew, Ontario, on Thursday night, as confirmed by local paramedics. The County of Renfrew Paramedic Service reported that emergency responders arrived at the scene at approximately 7:30 p.m. Medical assistance was provided to the individual on-site but unfortunately, they were later pronounced deceased by Michael Nolan, the service’s chief. The incident did not involve any other individuals, as stated in an email response to CBC by Nolan. Ontario Provincial Police have implemented detours in the vicinity, with Creek Side Road being closed between McLachlan and Kippen roads in McNab/Braeside, as announced on social media at around 7:40 p.m. Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes due to the expected extended closure for the investigative procedures at the scene.
