Prince Harry and Meghan Return to U.K. After Six Years

Prince Harry and Meghan have returned to the United Kingdom after residing in the United States for six years, according to reports from U.K. media. The couple’s unexpected decision to come back to Britain was confirmed by sources like the BBC and the Daily Telegraph, with the latter noting their arrival at Birmingham International Airport around midday.

Their flight from Van Nuys, California, was tracked landing at the airport at 11:56 a.m. on a private charter plane. Their children, Prince Archie, aged 7, and Princess Lilibet, aged 5, have been enrolled in British schools and are set to commence classes in September. Although the family will be residing in a private non-royal residence outside of London, the exact location has not been disclosed.

Harry and Meghan stepped down from their royal roles more than six years ago to pursue opportunities with Netflix and Spotify. Tensions arose with the Royal Family after the couple highlighted issues such as the treatment of Meghan’s mental health by palace staff and accusations of racism and media manipulation within the family.

In recent times, Harry has shown interest in reconciling, particularly to spend more time with his father, King Charles, who is undergoing treatment for an undisclosed type of cancer. However, strained relations persist with his brother, Prince William, who is next in line to the throne.
