The New Jersey Devils have appointed Jessica Campbell as the manager of hockey development and Bryan McCabe as the VP of prospect personnel and assistant general manager for the American Hockey League’s Utica Comets. These new appointments were revealed during the commencement of training camp and signify the latest enhancements made to the team’s management by the recently appointed GM, Sunny Mehta.
Campbell transitions to the Devils after serving as an assistant coach with the Seattle Kraken for the past two seasons, where she made history as the NHL’s first full-time on-bench female assistant coach. Both Campbell and McCabe will be under the supervision of assistant GM Braden Birch, who also joined Mehta from the Florida Panthers. McCabe, who previously held the position of director of player personnel in Florida, brings his experience to his new role with the Devils.
