“Alaska Highway Partially Reopens After Multi-Vehicle Collision”

The Alaska Highway south of Whitehorse has partially reopened following a multi-vehicle collision that led to the road’s closure for several hours on Monday. The Department of Highways and Public Works announced that as of 1:30 p.m., one lane was accessible for alternating traffic flow. Specific details about the incident have not yet been disclosed. Drivers are cautioned to anticipate delays and can monitor updates on 511Yukon for the latest information.
