Excluding school board trustee candidates, the total number of candidates vying for town and city council seats amounts to 148 individuals. In Niagara Falls, the mayoral race features incumbent Jim Diodati seeking a fifth term, along with several other contenders including Lori Lococo, Michael Lucid, Paul Manning, and Kevin Martineau. The city councillor category, with eight positions to be filled, includes individuals like Fred Audibert, Gary Baker, Tony Baldinelli, Rob Barranca, Joedy Burdett, Darlene Cane, Kim Craitor, Chris Dabrowski, and many more.
