“FAA Investigates Delta Air Lines Incident at LAX”

The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is conducting an investigation following an incident where a Delta Air Lines aircraft made contact with an Air Canada plane at Los Angeles International Airport. The FAA reported that the event occurred at approximately 10:30 a.m. local time while the Delta plane was taxiing for takeoff and the Air Canada aircraft was being towed to the gate.

According to an Air Canada representative, there were no injuries reported. Sean Davidson stated that the Air Canada Flight 785 had just arrived from Toronto when it was contacted by another airline’s aircraft at the tail section. The affected plane will undergo inspection and necessary repairs.

The FAA mentioned that the Delta aircraft’s left wingtip made contact with the Air Canada plane’s horizontal stabilizer, a wing-like structure located at the tail of the aircraft.
