Grieving Mother Claims Deceased Son’s Body Displayed

A mother, Kim Erick, experienced a distressing moment at the Real Bodies exhibition in Las Vegas, where she was convinced she saw her deceased son’s body on display. Despite the museum’s denial and police investigation confirming no foul play in her son’s passing, Kim remains convinced of a darker truth surrounding his death and alleged appearance at the exhibit.

Kim vividly described the emotional turmoil of seeing what she believed to be her son’s “skinned” and “butchered” body, leading her to call for DNA testing to verify his identity. She shared a deep bond with her son, Chris, whose sudden death in 2012 raised suspicions for Kim, especially when she received unsettling photos of his body post-mortem.

Further investigations into Chris’s death revealed the presence of cyanide in his body, prompting Kim to strongly believe foul play was involved. Despite a murder investigation opening and later determining his death as likely suicide, Kim persisted in seeking justice, eventually linking a body at the Real Bodies exhibit to her son due to distinctive features matching Chris’s injuries.

The exhibition, showcasing preserved human bodies for educational purposes, faced scrutiny from Kim, who claimed that the displayed body had tattoos removed in a suspicious manner to conceal its identity. Despite her pleas for the remains, the exhibition maintained they were sourced ethically and could not be identified.

The exhibition’s owner, Imagine Exhibitions, Inc., refuted Kim’s claims, asserting that the displayed specimen had been in Las Vegas for years and had no connection to her son. They emphasized their commitment to ethical and legal standards in sourcing and displaying specimens.

Kim’s relentless pursuit for answers and justice continues as she challenges the exhibition’s handling of the bodies and seeks closure regarding her son’s death.
