Halifax authorities are currently probing a hit-and-run incident involving a vehicle that hit an adult and a child in a stroller. The incident occurred on Clifton Street around 4 p.m. on a Tuesday. According to reports, a man driving a black 2016 Jeep Cherokee struck the adult and child as they were crossing the street in an unmarked crosswalk. The driver briefly stopped after the collision but then fled the scene heading south on Clifton Street. The child sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital, while the adult also suffered minor injuries.
