Man Accused of Indecent Acts in Southeastern Manitoba

A man has been accused of engaging in four indecent behaviors after allegedly exposing himself to individuals in several southeastern Manitoba towns within a single day last week. The RCMP announced on Friday that numerous indecent incidents were reported in the southeastern Manitoba communities on August 27.

According to law enforcement, female victims involved in each occurrence stated that they were either walking or standing at the roadside when a driver in an older model vehicle approached, stopped or slowed down, exposed himself, engaged in indecent behavior, and then drove away. The driver reportedly wore a disguise during several of the incidents.

Reported incidents on that day took place at Carriere Road and Road 34 N., Road 34 N. and Wolf Drive W. in the rural municipality of La Broquerie, Southeast Drive in Richer, and Albert Avenue in Grunthal. A 31-year-old suspect was apprehended at a residence in Landmark, Man., located just southeast of Winnipeg on Tuesday.

The individual faces four charges related to committing indecent acts and wearing a disguise with the intention to commit a crime. He was released under specified conditions and is scheduled to appear in court in Steinbach on October 16, as confirmed by a court spokesperson to CBC News.
