Tiafoe Defeats Auger-Aliassime in Cincinnati Open

Montreal’s Felix Auger-Aliassime faced a defeat against American Frances Tiafoe with a score of 6-3, 6-4 during the Cincinnati Open’s fourth-round match on Wednesday evening. Despite Auger-Aliassime’s 13-2 lead in aces, he committed 37 unforced errors, while Tiafoe, seeded at No. 17, made only 16 unforced errors, securing the win in one hour and 40 minutes.

In the third-round doubles competition, Canada’s Gabriela Dabrowski and Czech player Barbora Krejcikova lost to the Czech pair of Linda Noskova and Marie Bouzkova in a close match with a scoreline of 6-3, 1-6, 10-7. Dabrowski, hailing from Ottawa, usually partners with Luisa Stefani, but due to Stefani’s ongoing elbow injury, Dabrowski teamed up with Krejcikova for this event.
