Canmore RCMP is currently looking into the discovery of a body in the Bow River on Sunday morning. Emergency Health Services (EHS) reported that the body was located in a part of the Bow River situated to the east of Canmore by a rafter, who contacted emergency services around 9:40 a.m. Following confirmation of the individual’s death by paramedics and Canmore Fire officials, the RCMP was informed. The deceased has been identified as a 52-year-old resident of Canmore. The circumstances surrounding his passing are currently being investigated.
