Environment Canada issued a warning based on radar images indicating the potential for rainfall exceeding 60 mm per hour.
Describing the storm’s intensity, Environment Canada highlighted the slow movement of the dangerous thunderstorm, emphasizing the likelihood of strong wind gusts and intense rainfall. Witnessing the storm from her residence in Little Harbour near Souris, Brielle Campbell shared her experience with CBC News, noting the swirling clouds and the storm’s impact on the surroundings, describing it as a surreal sight.
