Despite committing 22 unforced errors and facing nine break points during the match, the top seeds managed to save seven break points and capitalized on three of their six break-point opportunities against Olmos and Neel.
In the upcoming semifinals on Saturday at the WTA 1000 tournament, Dabrowski and Stefani will be up against the fifth-seeded duo of Nicole Melichar-Martinez from the United States and Cristina Bucsa from Spain. This follows their recent remarkable 6-1, 6-2 win over top seeds Katerina Siniakova and Zhang Shuai in the China Open final last week, marking their fifth title of the season and the seventh triumph as a team.
