The Edmonton Police Service is currently probing the mysterious death of a 16-year-old female in the northeastern part of the city. According to EPS, officers responded to reports of a shooting in the vicinity of 139th Avenue and 32nd Street at approximately 6:50 a.m. on Sunday. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered the critically injured teenager. Despite immediate first aid efforts by the police, the girl was pronounced deceased at the scene. EPS has since initiated an investigation through their homicide division. Authorities have stated that further details will be disclosed as they become accessible.
